ABOUT NIX
Nix Ironstone doesn’t just step into a new era - she sets it on fire. With a new name and bold rock sound, she’s stepping fully into her power. Blending indie/alternative rock and goth pop with a fierce feminine edge, Nix delivers raw, dark, unapologetic anthems. Think Evanescence meets The Pretty Reckless - haunting melodies, cinematic grit, and anthemic rock hooks.
Formerly known as Nicole Rayy, she spent over a decade making her mark in the Canadian country music scene, building a loyal fanbase and earning a reputation for championing women in music. Now, with a new name and a bold new rock sound, as Nix Ironstone, she’s channelling that same fearless energy into an edgier sound and letting the darkness speak. In October 2025, she introduced this new chapter with her debut single “Dead To Me,” followed by her track “Nervous,” both songs set the tone for what’s to come. On August 21, she released her bold new single, “Sincerely, Me.”

“Sincerely, Me” (co-written with, and produced by award-winning rock band Bleeker) is a bold, anthemic alt-rock anthem for anyone who's finally had enough of a one-sided friendship. Packed with soaring guitars, explosive hooks, and razorsharp lyrics, the song transforms the end of a toxic relationship into the ultimate sarcastic sympathy card addressed to the person who lost your friendship. Driven by infectious energy and a chorus made to be shouted back at the stage, “Sincerely, Me” captures the moment you stop chasing closure and start choosing yourself.
"This one is for anyone who's ever had to break up with a toxic friend. This is the song you blast when you've finally signed your name at the bottom of the page, wished them well, and walked away." - NIX
